Come out to the charming town of Montrose, located in north Glendale/Foothills to see the latest works of Artist/Photographer Derek Althen. The Vintage Motorcycle series. Life-size highly detailed photographs of rare vintage motorcycles printed on aluminum!
Derek spends between 2 & 4 hours photographing the details of each motorcycle creating 60-100 images.
Once the motorcycle has been photographed, an additional 40-100 hours are spent digitaly crafting these images into one photograph.
The final product has an almost 3-D appearance and is printed on ChromaLuxe aluminum for its rich deep color and high detail. Almost like having the real motorcycle hanging on the wall!
